Life is finally returning to normal, and we are EXCITED to spend time with some of Virginia's best special educators!
Join us as we REBOOT our passion for teaching exceptional students, RECONNECT with other educators, and REDIRECT ourselves back to best practices. The VACEC 2022 Conference will include networking opportunities, awards and scholarship presentations, and workshop sessions that will provide practical takeaways for your classroom.
Some of our highlighted sessions and speakers include:
- Dr. Michael Kennedy from the University of Virginia will present on meeting students' academic needs through high-leverage practices
- Dr. Teri Marx from American Institutes of Research in Washington, D.C. will present on meeting students' behavioral needs as they are returning to in-person instruction
Registration includes two meals on Saturday and heavy hors d'oeuvre on Friday night.
Check-in will begin Friday evening and the conference will conclude at 5:00 PM on Saturday!
