Nominees should be noted for creating positive, inclusive classroom environments, positively impacting students (inspiring learning, building relationships, teaching self-determined behaviors, etc.), or having made notable contributions to the students, classrooms, department, and school they serve.
Virginia CEC Paraprofessional of the Year
The Virginia CEC Paraprofessional of the Year recognizes a Virginia Paraeducator who supports students with disabilities and has demonstrated exemplary performance as an employee of a Virginia School.
Virginia CEC General Education Teacher of the Year
